EN ISO 8655-2:2002 - The Internationally Recognised Standard for Pipetting

 

EN ISO 8655-2:2002 states that companies undertaking any of the following tasks should comply with this standard:

·         Manufacture of pipettes
·         Provision of pipette service and calibration
·         Use of pipettes

EN ISO 8655-1:2002 (Introduction) states:

ISO:8655 address the needs of:

- Suppliers, as a basis for quality control, including, where appropriate, the issuance of supplier’s declarations:

- Test houses and other bodies, as a basis for independent certification

- Users of their equipment, to enable routine checking of accuracy

- The tests specified should be carried out by a trained personnel.

  1. Tremendous blog post, loads of beneficial information. I am about to show my buddies and ask them what they think.
    In earlier 50's one of the major challenges faced by the laboratories was transferring of ideal volumes of liquid, but later in 1958 the revolutionary invention of pipette was done by one of the German scientist named Heinrich Schnitger but this invention was having a lot of limitations.
